Tuolumne County Supervisors meet tomorrow to consider a proposal to hire a new consultant to close down
the Jamestown Mine site. The firm, Montgomery Watson of Sacramento, ironically acquired the services of two employees who had been previously assigned
to close the mine. Plans to close it will cost close to 190 thousand dollars.

Supervisors will also consider authorizing Chief Probation Officer Shirley
Jewell´s request to apply for grants from the Office of Criminal Justice Planning.

The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors´ chambers.
