Felix Romo Named Leader In Worldwide Sight Campain

Sonora, CA – Felix Romo, Jr. of Sonora has been named one of the top local leaders in Lions Club International´s worldwide $150 million fund raising campaign to combat blindness.
The campaign will expand and enhance Lion´s SightFirst program, which has saved more than 24 million people from severe vision loss since its launch in 1990.
As a District Coordinator in Campaign SightFirst, Romo will organize Lions Clubs in the Sonora area and help them conduct fund raising at the local level.
He says it is amazing how willing Tuolumne County residents are to donate money when it comes to people in need.
Romo will be meeting with all of the clubs in Tuolumne County in the near future to get the donation ball rolling.
