Jamestown Man In Critical Condition After Motorcycle Collision

Jamestown, CA — A Jamestown man is in a Modesto hospital after he collided with a pickup truck while riding his motorcycle.
CHP says 70-year-old Ronald Wilson was riding southbound on highway 49 north of Victoria Way shortly after 3:00 in the afternoon when the pickup driven by 20-year-old David Crye of Columbia pulled out into his path.
Police say Wilson was unable to stop in time. Reports indicate that Wilson was ejected from the bike upon impact and thrown onto the pavement.
Police say Wilson was wearing a helmet, he was flown to Memorial North Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
