Authorities Seek Former Prison Physician Convicted Of Molestation

Sonora, CA — Police are looking for a former physician from the Sierra Conservation Center convicted of 23 counts of child molestation.
64-year-old James Daly is wanted on a $10 million arrest warrant after he failed to show up for court. The Monterey County district attorney´s office says that when Daly worked at the West Tuolumne County Prison he lived in either Columbia or Jamestown.
Attempts by police to apprehend Daly at the Columbia address listed on his driver´s license were unsuccessful Friday. Daly was convicted of one count of continual sexual harassment of a child and 22 counts of molestation in Monterey County.
Anyone with information on Daly´s whereabouts is asked to call the Tuolumne county Sheriff´s Department.
