Thieves Make Off With “Three Wishes” Camera
Sonora, CA — An apparent theft at Sonora High School over the weekend is hitting the community close to home.
Lt. Mark Stinson of the Sonora Police says a camera belonging to June Road Productions was stolen from the announcer´s booth at Dunlavy Field sometime late Friday afternoon.
The production company placed the time-lapse camera in the booth to track the progress of the installation of the new football field.
Stinson says there were no signs of forced entry and the perpetrator probably entered the booth through an open window.
The footage was to be used in the first episode of the new reality series “Three Wishes” to be aired this fall on NBC.
Anyone with information as to the camera´s whereabouts and who took it is urged to call the Sonora Police Department.
