Activist Group Questions Doolittle Fundraising Arrangement

Sacramento, CA — A citizen´s activist group has filed an ethics complaint against Representative John Doolittle among questions concerning the congressman´s fund-raising arrangements.
A published report indicates that the Doolittle campaign has contracted Sierra Dominion Financial Solutions to raise campaign funds. The firm is reportedly owned by Doolittle´s wife Julie.
She has supposedly earned in excess of $136,000 in commissions for her work.
Representatives for the Doolittle campaign say the arrangement is not illegal.
The campaign says Julie Doolittle has many other clients and she was hired simply because she is good at raising money.
