Burn Pile Results In Small Fire

Calaveras County fire crews responded to a small brush fire around 12:30 this afternoon. The fire was said off Highway 49 near the cement plant bridge in San Andreas area. Area residents helped hose-down the blaze until firefighters arrived on scene. Fire officials say the fire was caused by an escaped debris burn.
