State Looks To Define “Dangerous” Schools

The state Board of Education meets today and tomorrow. The board may consider revising the state´s definition of what constitutes a “persistently dangerous” public school. The federal No Child Left Behind act requires all states to list persistently dangerous schools, but leaves it to each state to define what it means.
