Baby Beaten To Death

A 14-month-old boy has been beaten to death in San Francisco, and police have arrested his father in the slaying. The body of Hezekiah Jones was found late Monday. Investigators say the baby had been struck with a blunt object. Police began searching for Leonard Boone when they learned he had been at the home earlier, but had left before police arrived. The boy´s father was picked up later in the day on a parole violation. After an interview, Boone was booked for investigation of murder. No word yet on a motive.
