Calaveras Wood Cutting Permits

The US Forest Service Calaveras Ranger District will be at the West Point California Division of Forestry and Fire Protection fire station Wednesday, May 15 to issue woodcutting permits. Permits are $10 per cord of wood, with a 10 cord maximum. The hours that permits will be handed out are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.A driver´s license will be needed and checks can be made to USDA Forest Service.
