Authorities say a 12-year-old girl from China is still missing from her traveling group after apparently becoming seperated from them at San Francisco International Airport Thursday. Yukun Jia was last seen at the airport going through customs with a youth tour group en route to space camp in Alabama. There was some confusion earlier yesterday after California Highway Patrol Commissioner Dwight “Spike” Helmick announced during a news conference that Jia had been found and planned to defect from her country. Helmick did an about face a few hours later and confirmed that he had been handed a note that contained incorrect information. Jia remains missing.
