Crash Injures Two

Just minor injuries for the drivers of two cars involved in an accident on Lyons Bald Mountain Road near Hope Lane this morning. Sonora Police officer John Mager says 19-year-old Heather Palmer of Tuolumne City lost control of her car on a corner, and drifted into the oncoming lane. She struck the left rear tire of a car driven by 39-year-old Cheryl Allegri of Sonora. Both cars spun around completely. Palmer’s car overturned and struck an oak tree.
Traffic was blocked for almost an hour and a half while the cars were being removed.
