Pet Scam Admitted In SF

A 40-year-old San Francisco man pleaded guilty to wire fraud after swindling people who had lost their pets. William Arnold Muniz scoured out-of-state newspaper advertisements, then contacted people who placed ads looking for cats and dogs. The feds say Muniz told owners he had found their animals and needed money to return them.
