Credit Card Crime At Casino
Sonora, CA — Gambling with stolen credit cards led to the arrest of three suspects at the Black Oak Casino Resort. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s office reports they got a call from the Casino security saying they were informed by a Riverside County man that someone was using his stolen credit card at the casino on Sunday evening. When deputies arrived at the Casino they found Rafael Cuevasceja (25) of Ceres and Toua Phialouang Vang (34) of Stockton using stolen credit cards to gamble.
Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Scott Johnson says, “They had withdrawn approximately $5,500 and were using that to gamble. They were in possession of several stolen credit cards. The cards had the victim’s information on them, but with the suspects names were imprinted. It was quite a complex theft.”
Deputies also arrested a woman, Chane Anne Xiong (30) of Stockton, as an accomplice to the crime.
All three are charged with felony Theft/Unauthorized use of a Credit Card. Detective are working with other law enforcement from several counties as many of the victims are from outside of Tuolumne County.
