Community Donates Record Amount To Interfaith

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — The 4th annual Clarke Broadcasting Cash Drive for Interfaith held last week raised over $40,000.

Also, over 1,070 coats were donated. Over the past four years the Mother Lode Community has donated more than $110,000 to Interfaith Social Services of Tuolumne County through the Clarke Broadcasting Cash Drive.

“I’m not usually lost for words, but it makes me speechless,” says Interfaith Director Cathie Peacock. “It really confirms in my mind, my beliefs about this community, and how this community works together.” Peacock says Interfaith serves over 800 families each month. It is open year round. The agency provides needed food, coats and other services to residents in need.

This year’s record amount was obtained with the help of a $15,000 donation from Chicken Ranch Casino.

The Cash Drive was held a week ago Thursday and Friday during the Star 92.7 and 93.5 KKBN morning shows. All of the money donated goes directly to Interfaith Social Services.
