Caltrans Work Plans Week of June 29
Stockton, CA – Caltrans crews will be at work along all the Mother Lode’s major highways next week.
On Highway 4 in Calaveras County, each weekday shoulder work is planned between west of Hunt and Deer Creek roads in Copperopolis from 8:15 a.m. until 3 p.m. with one-way traffic control and possible delays to motorists of ten minutes.
Saturday, July 4, in Arnold, Caltrans will close a stretch of Highway 4 in Arnold between Country Club Drive and Upper Moran Road from 9:30 a.m. until noon for the town’s Independence Day parade.
On Highway 12 in Valley Springs, long-term highway construction that will run weekdays through early October between Pine Street and Cosgrove Creek sets up daily from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on the right shoulder but it should currently not be causing any delays. Similarly, on Highway 26, around-the-clock weekday construction is scheduled on Highway 26 on the right shoulder between Nove Way and Highway 12.
Tree work, slated every weekday next week along Highway 26 between Paloma Road and Campo Seco Turnpike from 5:15 a.m. until 1 p.m. may cause minor motorist delays.
Along Highway 49, in Angels Camp, utility work Tuesday is planned between Six Mile and Angels creeks from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. with minor delays possible under one-way traffic control.
On Highway 49 in Tuolumne County, Monday through Wednesday, a tree crew will be working between Von Kleiben Road and Tuttletown from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., with one-way traffic control in place and possible five-minute delays.
Pavement marker replacement along Highway 108 Tuesday through Thursday will begin at Hidden Acres Road and end at the East Avenue undercrossing, west of Tuolumne Road. The crews will be working in alternating lanes from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. and motorists should anticipate delays of a few minutes.
Every weekday from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. a sweeping crew will be moving along Highway 120. The operation will begin Monday at Big Creek and wind up at Yosemite National Park on Friday, with delays of five minutes to motorists possible.
