Update: Power Restored To Phoenix Lake Area
Update at 7:20 p.m.: PG&E report power has been restored to the last 470 customers in the Phoenix Lake area.
Update at 4:45 p.m.: PG&E reports more than 550 customers in the Phoenix Lake area have had their power restored. Those include, Phoenix Lake Road and Elizabeth Lane areas. Still without power are nearly 470 customers in the Crystal Falls, White Oak, Crestview and Feather River drives area. Downed power lines on Feather River Drive are to blame for about half of those remaining in the dark, according to company officials who report no cause has been determined for the rest. The estimated time of repair is 8:30 p.m.
Update at 4 p.m.: PG&E has updated the number of customers in the dark in the Phoenix Lake area to more than 1,100 while pushing the estimated repair time by four and a half hours for some.
The areas impacted are along Phoenix Lake Road, Creekside, Crystal Falls, White Oak, Crestview and Feather River drives. The company reports power lines are down along Feather River and crews are working to restore power the estimated time of repair has been extended to 8:30 p.m. However, for another 550 customers, PG&E gives no cause for the outage and has pushed the estimates the time of repair to be 6:30 p.m.
Update 3:15 p.m.: Electricity has been restored to several hundred whose lights went out around 1:30 this afternoon but another more than 1,000 PG&E customers are still in the dark. The areas impacted are along Phoenix Lake Road, Creekside, Crystal Falls, White Oak, Crestview and Feather River drives. The company would not confirm if the wet weather is to blame but reports crews are assessing the cause. PG&E estimates the time of repair to be 4:15 this afternoon.
Update: 2:45 p.m.: PG&E reports another 325 customers are in the dark along Feather River and West Crystal Falls drives. The company would not confirm if the wet weather is to blame as crews are now on scene assessing the cause. PG&E estimates the time of repair to be 3:30 this afternoon.
Original Post at 2:04 p.m.: Phoenix Lake, CA — More than 1,100 PG&E customers are without power in the Phoenix Lake area.
The lights went out at around 1:30 this afternoon in the areas of Phoenix Lake Road, Creekside and Crystal Falls drives. The company reports the cause is unknown at this time as crews are heading to the outage site to investigate. PG&E estimates the time of repair to be 3:30 this afternoon.
