Sacramento, CA – The state has more money than was originally budgeted. The Associated Press reports the state’s independent budget analyst says California will take in $3.2 billion more than Governor Jerry Brown estimated. The AP says that will provide Democratic lawmakers the opportunity to increase spending. The Legislative Analyst’s Office says Brown’s budget doesn’t reflect the improving economy, including higher capital gains from stock sales.
