Angels Camp Authorities Arrest Fresno Man

Angels Camp, CA– This week Angels Camp authorities arrested a Fresno man on sexual assault charges.

On Monday, the Angels Camp Police Department was contacted by Clovis Police regarding a reported sexual assault that occurred on Saturday, October 22nd in Angels Camp.

The female victim said that she knew the suspect and that they were both staying in the same condominium at the Woodmark Resort.

Angels Camp Police investigators traveled to Clovis and Fresno to conduct a follow-up investigation. Upon contacting the suspect, officers developed probable cause for an arrest.

The suspect, Thomas Siegrist, 51, was taken into custody and transported back to the Calaveras County Jail. He was booked on charges related to sexually assaulting an intoxicated victim.
