Officials Looking For Owner Of Abandoned Horse

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Animal Control Department is looking for the owner of a starving horse that was located near the Red Hills Trail Head on Red Hills Rd. earlier this week.
Animal Control officials took the horse to a shelter in Jamestown, and believe that it may have been abandoned sometime on Monday. The horse is described as light reddish-brown with a white star around the eye. If you have any information on the incident, you are asked to call 209-694-2730.
