Management Contract Approved For T. C. Transit

Sonora, CA — Modesto based Storer Transit Systems has been selected to manage the day-to-day operations of Tuolumne County Transit.
The Tuolumne County Supervisors approved a four year $5.34 million contract with the company, with an option for two additional years.
Tuolumne County had previously contracted with Fairfield based M.V. Transportation.
Four companies submitted contract proposals and Deputy Transportation Director Darin Grossi told the Supervisors that Storer had submitted the top proposal. It was selected by a review panel including Sonora City Administrator Greg Applegate, Deputy CAO Maureen Frank, Public Works Director Peter Rei and Transportation Program Coordinator Diane Bynam.
