Jamestown’s Bradbury Arrested On DUI Charge

Jamestown, CA — 43 year old Christopher William Bradbury was arrested on multiple charges including driving-under-the-influence and resisting arrest Wednesday evening on Seco St. south of Preston Lane at 11:10pm.

Bradbury was stopped by a Sheriff´s deputy who requested aid from the C.H.P. due to a possible D.U.I. Two C.H.P. officers investigated Bradbury and determined that he was under the influence of alcohol.

During the arrest procedure the 270 pound Bradbury became combative and had to be subdued. While applying leg restraints Bradbury kicked one of the C.H.P. officers causing minor injuries.

Bradbury continued kicking as leg restraints were being applied. Eventually officers used a taser minus the darts. They placed the taser on Bradbury´s thigh in an effort to bring him under submission.

Bradbury was booked into the County Jail at 1:35am.
