Jamestown Resident Arrested On Domestic Abuse Charges

Jamestown, CA — 44 year old John Kenneth Wilkinson was arrested without incident Friday evening by Tuolumne County Sheriff´s deputies and charged with domestic battery, damaging a phone line, terrorist threats and false imprisonment with violence.
Deputies received a call from a Sonora area female stating that she had repeatedly been assaulted, threatened and held against her will by the 6-8, 290 pound Wilkinson. She received injuries consisting of bruising and pain to her head, neck, back and arms.
During one such assault, he disabled a phone during her attempt to contact the Sheriff´s Department.
The victim added that she and Wilkinson had once had a dating relationship.
Wilkinson was released on $35,000 bond.
