New Interim Principal At Avery Middle School

Avery, CA — Kris Krause of Twain Harte has been named interim principal for Avery Middle School.
Krause began the position this month and will fill in until the end of the school year. The school hopes to have a new permanent principal by then.
Krause is a retired administrator from Sonoma County.
He is taking over for Principal Tim Hicks who also came out of retirement to temporarily fill the position.
Avery Middle School is in the Vallecito Union School District and has just under 300 students.
