Update: Full Power Restoration In Tuolumne County, Calaveras Thursday
Update at 6:10 p.m.: Tuolumne County OES spokesperson Jason Terry tells Clarke Broadcasting that the county has reached 100 percent restoration. The Community Resource Centers are shutting down now that all the remaining PG&E customer addresses impacted by the latest Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) now have electricity. Terry details that two areas with damage to the lines in the Mi-Wuk Village area delayed full restoration. However, he did not have specifics on the damages.
In Calaveras County, there is 85 percent restoration, with OES Director John Osbourn relaying that power will be 100 percent restored by sometime around midday tomorrow. Most of those without lights are from Camp Connell up along the Highway 4 Corridor and in West Point and Wilseyville.
Update at 5:25 p.m.: Here is the latest update form Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). As of 4 p.m. crews had restored power to approximately 196,500 customers since the latest Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) “All Clear” was given at 10 a.m. today (Oct. 30). There remain 168,500 total customer addresses impacted by the power shutdown. All utility operate Community Resource Centers will remain open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until power has been restored in the affected areas.

Update at 3:16pm: Restoration in the wake of the latest Public Safety Power Shutoff continues to progress.
In the 3 o’clock hour PG&E data indicates 100 customer addresses without power in Tuolumne County, concentrated in the Mi-Wuk Village area with a restoration time by 9 p.m.
In Calaveras, there are currently 5,050 outages in areas scattered around the county and north of Arnold. Valley Springs, San Andreas, Angels Camp, and Copperopolis were not impacted by the latest PSPS event.
Update at 2:55 p.m.: Tuolumne County OES spokesperson Jason Terry updates that the number of customer addresses impacted by the latest PG&E PSPS to have their power restored is 79 percent. He adds that the utility estimates total restoration for the county by 9 p.m.

Update at 1:28pm: Restoration in the wake of the latest Public Safety Power Shutoff continues to progress.
According to PG&E’s general guidance to local OES officials, 75 percent of all Californians affected by it will have power restored today although some counties may not be fully restored until this evening. The current number of PG&E customer addresses off in Tuolumne County is 3,181 and in Calaveras, it is 8,708.
Tuolumne County OES spokesperson Jason Terry shares, “I am hearing some reports of power starting to come on in the Twain Harte and Cold Spring areas but have not received any update on percentages or times. I will continue to request this information and push out as soon as I have it available.”
According to Calaveras County OES Director John Osbourn, PG&E anticipates having impacted county customers three-quarters restored by 11 p.m. and that power will be 100 percent restored by sometime around midday tomorrow.

Update at 8:52am: Related to the October 26 planned power outages, 100-percent of the customers were restored in Tuolumne County and 62-percent in Calaveras County.
Calaveras County OES Coordinator John Osbourn reports that line inspections are underway and PG&E is prioritizing those who have been without power the longest.
Update at 8:14am: PG&E gave the all-clear at around 5:20 this morning to begin the process of inspecting lines, and then crews started patrolling at dawn. Power will gradually be restored throughout the day for the 9,000 addresses without electricity in Tuolumne County and 19,000 in Calaveras County. Projecting one week out, PG&E is anticipating no additional planned outages on the horizon. A Red Flag fire warning remains in effect in some areas, but that alone is not enough to trigger a planned power outage.
Original story posted at 6:50am: Twain Harte, CA — PG&E is planning to begin the process this morning of inspecting lines and turning on power from the latest planned outage.
There are an estimated 19,000 customers without electricity in Calaveras County and 9,000 in Tuolumne County. In Tuolumne County, they are primarily up the Highway 108 corridor in Twain Harte, Confidence, Sugar Pine, Sierra Village, Long Barn, Cold Springs, Pinecrest and Strawberry. There are also customers impacted in the Phoenix Lake/Cedar Ridge region. In Calaveras, the outages stretch up the Highway 4 corridor above Murphys and they impact areas like Forest Meadows, Arnold, Dorrington, Big Trees and Camp Connell. The outages are also impacting areas around Railroad Flat, Mokelumne Hill, West Point and Glencoe.
PG&E indicates that there are no additional weather events/planned outages on the immediate horizon.
