Sonora Pass Wagon Train Rolls Into Twain Harte
Twain Harte, Ca– Although the weather wasn´t all sunshine, organizer Willy Evans was not about to cancel the 10th Annual Sonora Pass Wagon Train.
Evans says that although they experienced some showers, the event was still great. The journey from the east side of Sonora Pass was done to commemorate the history of the pioneers that came over the pass and to educate the next generation of the hardships experienced by those making the journey.
Several covered wagons rolled into downtown Twain Harte at about 3:45 today after traveling for several days. Also participating in the event was District Three Supervisor Teri Murrison who said she had a “really fun time.”
Evans says the trip was beautiful and breathtaking and that the highlight of the trip was when the group picked up the children who participated in the event.
