Sonora, CA — Several structures on Green Springs Road are still standing, thanks to the quick action of a Tuolumne County man.
CDF and Tuolumne County Fire officials say the man´s shop building caught on fire while he was using a welder Friday afternoon.
Reports indicate that although the shop was a total loss of $250,000, the other structures were saved due to the man´s use of fire extinguishers.
The fire was located off of Highway 108 at Green Springs Road. Fire officials say engines from CDF, Tuolumne County Fire, and Sierra Conservation Center responded to the blaze.
