Hospice care is a comprehensive service which includes nursing care, home health aides, medical social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and of course physician treatment and review. Â Most Hospice patients retain their personal primary care physician throughout their time on Hospice which is ideal from the standpoint of continuity of care.
