Moke Hill Fire Near Containment

Firefighters in the Highway 26 area of Calaveras County east of Mokelumne Hill say they are making good progress putting out a slow moving grass fire. The fire off the highway between Mokelumne Hill and Glencoe was sparked by a motor home fire around 6:25 p.m. Monday night. The motor home was totally destroyed.
