Phalen Trial Scheduled For Next Month

Sonora, CA — A trial for 64-year-old Gary Lee Phalen of Jamestown has been scheduled for April 22 in Department Four of Tuolumne County Superior Court.
Phalen is charged with vehicular manslaughter and resisting arrest after allegedly being under the influence and striking and killing 66-year-old Virginia Plummer with his vehicle on Main St. in Jamestown. The incident occurred back on February 9th.
Phalen is pleading not guilty.
