Avery Resident Injured In Motorcycle Accident

San Andreas, CA — 19 year old Cary Tiede of Avery suffered major injuries when he lost control of his 2004 Honda motorcycle Friday evening.
According to C.H.P. reports Tiede was traveling eastbound on Hwy 4 at a speed of at least 55mph on the Utica Grade. He failed to negotiate a curve to the left and exited the roadway leaving the right shoulder and traveling down a steep embankement. The motorcycle collided with brush and a tree before coming to a stop.
Tiede was transported to Sonora Regional MedicalCenter.
