Sonora, CA — Both lanes of Hwy 108 at Stockton Rd. have been opened following an afternoon trailer spill of dirt and gravel that, for a short time, closed both lanes.

A Caltrans crew is winding up the cleanup and two CHP units remain on the scene of the 2:30pm accident.

According to CHP Officer Tom Wills a truck apparently took the westbound turn from Stockton Rd. onto Hwy 108 at too great a speed causing the trailer to overturn.
