Hwy 108 – Stockton Rd. Accident

Sonora, CA — Major slowdown on Hwy 108 at Stockton Rd. due to a gravel and dirt trailer that overturned.
Both lanes were originally blocked … one lane is now open for thru traffic.
According to CHP Officer Tom Wills the truck was headed southbound on Hwy 49 (Stockton Rd.) when it attempted to make a right hand turn onto Hwy 108. The trailer overturned dumping its load of gravel and dirt on the highway.
Caltrans is cleaning the area. Wills says it may be between 3:15 and 3:45 before the highway is restored to normal traffic conditions.
