Tuolumne, CA — Former Albertson´s employees are discovering they live in a community that cares.
Black Oak Casino Human Resources Director Patrick Dempsey says approximately 17 former employees have interviewed for positions. Five have received offers while several others are pending. Black Oak is also trying to place the father of one of the former employees.
Potential positions include the kitchen, dining, housekeeping and training along with supervisorial and management.
Approximately 65 Mother Lode residents lost their jobs when Albertson´s closed its doors Saturday at the Junction Shopping Center.
