Another Santa Barbara telemarketing firm has been shut down and fined by the Federal Trade Commission
for deceptive marketing practices.

Nationwide Information Service, also known as Progressive Marketing, is banned permanently from marketing or
selling information guides. The F-T-C says it promoted and sold lists of foreclosed homes, and car auction locations that could be found in the Yellow
Pages.
