Calaveras, CA– The investigation of the death of James Patrick Krauth continues.
An autopsy for Krauth is scheduled for later this week to determine what agencies officer´s rounds hit Krauth during an altercation at the New Melones Lake Marina parking lot Friday Midnight.
Reports indicate the officers involved were Calaveras County Sheriff´s deputies Gray Foster who discharged his weapon, and Alan Serpa, who was struck by Krauth´s vehicle.
Angel´s Camp Police officers involved were Sergeant Todd Fordahl, Sergeant S. Poortinga, and Officer Chris Adams. Sgt. Fordahl also discharged his weapon.
