State Hosts Free Fishing Day

San Andreas, CA — The last of two free fishing days offered by the state Department of Fish and Game takes place this Saturday.
Anyone can fish this Saturday, September 23, without having a fishing license.
The idea is to give residents a low-cost opportunity to give fishing a try.
All fishing regulations remain in effect. There are bag and size limits, gear restrictions, fishing hours and stream closures.
