YES Partnership Luncheon-Auction Set For Friday

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County YES Partnership will be hosting its 14th Annual Lunch-Auction this Friday at the Elks Lodge in Sonora.

The silent auction starts at 11am, lunch will be served at 11:45 with the live auction scheduled for 12:30. Reservations must be made by the close of today´s lunch hour. The number is 533-1397.

The purpose of the auction-luncheon is to raise funds for groups involved in substance-alcohol and child abuse prevention programs in the county. Already 137 Mother Lode residents have luncheon reservations. In addition 50-plus businesses are involved in the fund raising project.

The YES Partnership has contributed $2,000 to Columbia Elementary School´s Too Good For Drugs curriculum, $2,000 to Cassina High School to record public service announcements for the prevention of substance, alcohol and child abuse and $2,000 for the Dawn´s Light Grief Center in Sonora.
