Delta College OK’s Land Purchase In Calaveras

Valley Springs, CA — 60 acres of land in Valley Springs could become the home of a future Delta College campus.
The San Joaquin Delta College Board of Trustees voted last week to authorize the superintendent to buy the land located along Paloma Road between Highway 12 and Campo Seco Road from the Thomas Coe family.
The negotiated price for 40 acres is $1.4 million. There is a donation option for 20 of the acres.
The property would be used as the Calaveras County foothills educational center for San Joaquin Delta College.
