Mutz Bean Feed Set For Friday

Sonora, Ca — This Friday is the annual Bean Feed in downtown Sonora.
Organizer G.A. Mutzner says this will mark the 19th year of the event. Every year, he and his helpers cook up beans and hand them out anyone who is in the downtown area.
The first year, he says people looked at him and his helpers like they were crazy when they tried to pass out the free beans. Mutzner says the event has grown in popularity over the years, and many now tell him that this is the social event of the year.
The bean feed starts at noon at the corner of Linoberg and Washington. 45 minutes later it´s the Pop Hudson Sing at Courthouse Park.
