Stanislaus County Drug Agents Make Major Ecstacy Bust
Delhi, CA — Police in Stanislaus County have made what they are calling the largest ecstasy bust in the central valley.
Lieutenant Marvin Harper says 28-year-old Jason Lombardo was arrested Friday after deputies received a tip that he was selling large amounts of ecstasy pills and was preparing to make a delivery.
Agents placed Lombardo under surveillance and were able to initiate a traffic stop on highway 99. A search of Lombardo´s vehicle turned up 8000 ecstasy pills and a loaded .357 Glock handgun.
After serving a search warrant on Lombardo´s house, police found a large amount of marijuana along with several thousand dollars in cash and numerous shotguns, handguns and rifles.
Agents seized a Corvette, as well as a truck, boat, two bank accounts totaling $60,000 and real estate valued at more than $330,000. The drugs have an estimated street value of about $160,000.
Lombardo faces several felony drug and firearms charges.
