Forest Service Appoints New Program Area Leader

Sonora, CA — A new Program Area Leader for Natural Resource Management for the Stanislaus National Forest has been chosen.
The U.S. Forest Service says Deb Romberger is a former District Ranger in the Lassen National Forest.
In her new position in Sonora, Romberger will lead programs dealing with vegetation management, ranges, wildlife and watersheds. She will also serve as a member of the Executive Forest Leadership Team.
The position was identified by a review conducted by the Washington D.C. office as a key staffing priority.
Romberger replaces Dan Young who vacated the position last February.
