Stockton Woman Injured In Highway 108 Collision
Jamestown, CA — A Stockton woman is recovering from serious injuries sustained from a three-car accident on Highway 108 yesterday.
CHP says 77-year-old Jean Laosantos was driving southbound shortly after 2:00 in the afternoon when her car collided with a Dodge Pickup driven by 33-year-old Aaron Sanders of Soulsbyville.
Officers say Sanders had been driving Northbound when he apparently fell asleep and drifted across the center line.
A report indicates that Sanders´ truck overturned after the collision and impacted a third vehicle driven by 56-year-old Judith Treadway of Jamestown.
A small fire on the pickup was confined to the vehicle´s undercarriage. Laosantos was transported to Sonora Regional Medical center for treatment.
CHP says all parties were wearing seatbelts and alcohol is not considered to be a factor.
