Vandals Sought In Valley Springs

Valley Springs, CA — The Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department is on the look out for vandals in Valley Springs.
Deputies received a call from a contractor on Loera Hills Rd. this morning concerning vandalism to a house under construction.
When Deputies arrived they found a broken front window and “ELF” spray painted in large letters on the front garage door.
Although Christmas is drawing near Deputies say the word is not referring to one of Santa´s helpers, but the initials for the Earth Liberation Front, which has claimed vandalism to construction sites throughout California.
Residents are being asked to report any suspicious people or activity around construction sites.
