It happened after 3pm Tuesday afternoon on Highway 49 at Pesce Way. 53-year-old Christine Spies of Murphys was northbound in her 2003 Subaru pickup when for an unknown reason, police say she lost control of the truck, ran off the road, and hit a power pole.
