Peterson Trial: Deliberations, Day 2
Jurors in the Scott Peterson double murder trial enter a second day of deliberations today.
The panel met for about four hours yesterday, their first day of deliberations.
They are being sequestered until they reach a verdict.
Prosecutors say Peterson killed his pregnant wife, Laci, and dumped her body in San Francisco Bay.
Defense attorneys say he was framed.
Peterson´s defense lawyers finished up their closing arguments Wednesday.
They told the jury there´s little evidence to tell if Laci Peterson´s fetus died before or after being born.
They say if it was afterward, that would mean Peterson couldn´t have committed
the crime because he was being monitored by police.
But prosecutors say the theory of a frameup isn´t reasonable.
