Youth Soccer Delayed Due To Mud
There will be a whole bunch of youth soccer players with very little to do this weekend and the weather is to blame.
Standard Park has advised that the Tuolumne County Youth Soccer games, planned for all day tomorrow, won´t happen because the park is too muddy.
“We can´t relocate. It will be rescheduled. All of the games that would have been played this Saturday will be played on the 30th.”
Steve Tomasen with Tuolumne County Youth Soccer says the change affects 1400 kids ages 5 to 19.
“The board will be calling all of the coaches tonight, to try to get the message out to the coaches, and have them get it out to the teams… but we just want to let them know that there will be no games played tomorrow,” Tomasen said.
This Saturday´s games will be played next Saturday, and next Saturday´s will be bumped to November the 6th… weather permitting.
