Copperopolis, CA — Traffic delays can be expected over the O’Byrnes Ferry Bridge in the Copperopolis area over the next couple of months.
Due to needed repair work, the Calaveras County Public Works Department reports that portable temporary traffic signals will be set up starting today and continuing through mid-December. They will be in place 24 hours per day, seven days per week, reducing traffic to one lane over the bridge.
Construction crews themselves will be active during daylight hours, Monday through Friday, 7 am – 6 pm.
Travel with extra caution in the area.
The two-lane concrete bridge crosses over Lake Tulloch and connects Tuolumne and Calaveras counties.
