State AG Wants Davis To Save Witness Program

Attorney General Bill Lockyer is asking Governor Davis and legislators to rescue the state´s witness protection program from budget cuts. He says witnesses to violent crimes will refuse to cooperate with authorities or face being harmed if the program isn´t saved.
