Quake Rattles Mammoth Lakes

A mild earthquake of magnitude 4.0 occurred this morning just east of the Sierra Nevada´s Mammoth Lakes. The seismology laboratory at the University of California-Berkeley said the quake at 7:35 a.m. was centered about seven miles southeast of Mammoth Lakes. A Mono County sheriff´s dispatcher said no reports of damage or injury have been reported.
